Swimming is a perfect fitness activity. It was very popular even back in ancient Greece and was one of competitions in original Olympic Games.

Swimming is excellent type of fitness. It provides full body workout without stress for joints and bones. It is an aerobic exercise, as well. Swimming is a well known rehabilitation activity for injured.

Public swimming pools provide programs teaching how to swim, be safe around the water and how to rescue others.

To simplify your access to Toronto swimming pool directory we divided the list into 4 groups: Etobicoke-York District, Toronto-East York District, North York District and Scarborough District.

Four times a year you can register your child for programs provided by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation. Complete list is provided as a “The FUN Guide” and available in any branch of Toronto Public Library. You can use the Toronto “FUN guide” registration page to get more details about the process.
